Trendy clothing designer Diesel is holding a design competition on a ginormous scale. Winners will get their artwork draped over a huge wall space in NYC, Manchester, Zurich, or Barcelona. Sounds like a very cool opportunity and a great way to get some recognition for your work.

Next on the line-up of shows to get excited about: She Wants Revenge is coming to The Fillmore in San Francisco again. They were awesome last time, so I definitely can’t wait to see them again on June 20th!

The song of the day today would definitely have to be “Fluorescent Adolescent” by Arctic Monkeys.  Supposedly the group’s 2nd album Favourite Worst Nightmare was the best UK album of 2007.

In other news, tickets for Ladytron and Simian Mobile Disco were purchased this weekend!  I am making FANTASTIC progress on my New Year’s resolution.

Everything’s all set for my trip to Rome next month! Woohoo! I’m finally going to Italy (knock on wood)! This is going to be a much needed escape.

New years resolutions are always difficult to maintain, but I’ve actually been making pretty good progress on my resolution of going to more concerts this year. Since the start of the year, I’ve seen Katy Perry, Moving Units, Cornelius, Hot Hot Heat, and The Editors.

Tomorrow The Bravery will be playing at The Fillmore. I can’t wait!

If all goes according to plan, I will on a plane headed to Rome, Italy this time next month! Fingers crossed!!

Seeing as how much of a pain MovableType is being as a blogging platform, I’m a bit tempted to move my blog to Blogger.

We’ll see. I do think it’s high time for this blog to undergo a face-lift though. More to come.
